November 7th Benefit for Glenn Kimmel

October 14th, 2010 in Benefit Auction by 0 Comments

The Benefit was a great success! Thank you one and all.

The Burned Man organization will be holding our first Benefit and Silent Auction on November 7th, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Native Sons Hall in Pescadero, CA. Proceeds from this event will be directed to The Kimmel Fund—an account set up to benefit Glenn Kimmel, a local burn survivor currently facing overwhelming debt. Glenn suffered extensive burns over 35% of his body, so it will be a long time before he is able to resume working or return to a normal quality of life. Because all of his energies must be focused on physically healing, we are committed to helping him through the efforts of The Burned Man.

We invite you to participate in our benefit auction by donating artwork, gift certificates for merchandise or services, or experiences such as a dinner with an artist, private lessons. All contributions will be used solely for the purpose of assisting local burn survivors while developing a valuable resource for burn survivors and their families. View some of the auction items here, or click here for a list of items.

Wonderful treasures and services are being donated to the silent auction. There will be great food to eat and live music will be played throughout the day, featuring:
